Mason Schoonover Commits to Berry College in Rome

Mason Schoonover (Schoony), our 6-2 number 1 pitcher in 2023, has committed to further his playing career at Berry College in Rome, GA. His high eighties fastball and devastating slider combination led to Mason leading Region 1-AAA in strikeouts by a large margin. Mason was a 2-way player all year and came up with several huge contributions offensively in addition to 3 quality starts on the mound in the 2023 post-season. Mason also maintained a fantastic 4.6 adjusted GPA.
