David Scott “DS” Livingston Commits to Columbus State University Football

David Scott “DS” Livingston is the definition of a high school student athlete. Playing multiple sports since the day he stepped on Campus. Even though DS is focusing on football at the next level, we are overjoyed to share the news he will be moving on to play collegiate sports.

DS has been a part of both the Baseball and Football Varsity squads all four years. In baseball, he transitioned from the pitchers mound and catchers gear to the outfield after football kind of forced him to. David is always a threat at the plate and led Columbus for a good portion of 2025 in on-base percentage.

In Football, he has over 750 yds of all-purpose yards. He was a running back as well as Outside Linebacker.

David’s older brother Davis pitched at the next level with ABAC.

Scott Livingston has been on staff at Columbus as a pitching coach and recently joined the football coaching staff in 2024. Mother Jaime Livingston has been the Vice President of the baseball booster club and an unbelievable supporter of Columbus High, serving on the Football board as well. She has been the driving force behind the concession stand operating at full capacity over the last few years.
